The Cottage :  Everything you need for a comfortable stay. View

Enjoy the private sundecks, sheltered from wind and rain, the luxury spa pool under a gazebo, the lawns and picturesque gardens, full of flowers, interesting trees and birdlife.
Relax with stunning views of native bush and the tranquil waters of the inner Bay of Islands and listen to the sounds of “Morepork”- owls, Wekas and Kiwis (Russell is a Kiwi protection area) and enjoy the star-lit, peaceful nights.

The Fiddler’s Green is ideal for honeymoons or to rest from a long voyage.

We serve a gourmet breakfast (the old shellbacks would never have dreamt of) and a barbecue dinner of South American Churrasceria style on request.

“The Fiddler’s Green” has easy access to beaches, all water activities, tennis,  bush walks with stunning views across the Bay , and game fishing. A short drive takes you to downtown Russell with its restaurants, cafes, galleries, an interesting museum, gift shops, historic buildings and the wharf.
